"Nice but commercial place, with slightly overpriced wines, but then again Japanese wines are quite expensive. I tried the Chardonnay and the estate blend (red). Technologically, both wines were well made. Precise, concious winemaking. However, I was expecting more depth and complexity, especially from the red blend. I felt partial whole bunch (carbonic) maceration, so it's a fruit forward, easy drinking red. Villages level, if you will. Don't expect too much. Tasting amounts are small (0.5 dl) and 450? yen for the red, which I found not be of a good value. However, I wanted to experience the Japanese terroir. The red grape juice, on the other hand, was excellent!"
