"Great to see this finally open! The atmosphere is awesome and different for the area, love the lit up back wall. Sure they are getting in the groove of things but the drinks I had, French Toast old fashioned and Gold Rush cocktails and they were on point. I had a few appetizers as well but I definitely dove into the Angus sliders and mussels."

"We were surprised that they had an actual Thanksgiving type dinner available, but we still ordered seafood. The restaurant was extremely busy but the staff seemed to be helping each other out. Our waitress Tommie was great and will ask for her again the next time we visit. Food was excellent."

"A Taste of Italy. A couple of weeks ago we were looking for a restaurant we 've never been, but also some place fairly close to home (Sterling Heights). Since I also have an Entertainment 2011 Book, I thought we should take advantage of any discounts. My family loves Italian cooking so we settled on Da Francesco in Shelby Township. Looking on the outside, the building is somewhat small, but looks can be deceiving. The building is kind of 'L-shaped ' with a fairly good sized dining area. We were there for a late lunch, so the dining room was kind of sparse. We started off with an appetizer of their Fried Calamari and an order of Brushchetta, which were excellent. Our entrees were the Vitello Scallopini and the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi. Each entrée was delicious and the portions were more than generous. Included was their 'Soup of the Day ' which looked a lot like the traditional 'Italian Wedding Soup. With my Scallopini I had a side dish of pasta with a wonderful meat sauce and the Scampi included a side of fresh vegetables. The prices are reasonable, the food delicious, and the service excellent. What more can anyone ask for when you get a 'Taste of Italy ' in Shelby Township."

"Today we had lunch and the service and food were excellent. We had the steak sandwich and lunch Lasagna. We also had the fried rice ball with meat sauce inside. Very good. Generous portions and not the chain style Italian fair. While there are many places in this area to choose from this is a great family Italian place hidden in a strip mall. Definitely worth the trip."

"Me and my latina wife always come here for special occasions. They serve you fresh chips and salsa when you sit down. The place is clean, spacious, and has a nice atmosphere. We ordered the chicken and beef fajitas that come on sizzling cast iron plates. The food is always DELICIOUS!!! and is latina wife approved. It's a great place to bring friends, family, or a date! We will always come back here for high quality hispanic food and great service! Thank you Miguel's Cantina Team! Keep up the great hard work!"
