"We went into this restaurant at lunchtime to make a group booking for dinner. We were told that was no problem. Called to.confirm the reservation later that day; again, no problem. Showed up minutes early for our booking, were told the table wasn't ready...yet and could we have a drink around the corner to wait (we were told we couldn't wait in the restaurant). That was fine, so we went to get a drink elsewhere. Came back minutes later to find that they had given our table away to a group who walked in about seconds before us (who did not seem to have a reservation). The staff did nothing about this and did not offer to seat us anywhere else, including at separate tables which were available (and which we would have taken despite splitting our group). Awkward and uncomfortable for everyone, including the new group who had been seated at our table. After the staff left us still waiting with no explanation, we decided to go elsewhere and ended up at Isabel (which was delicious and great value). The food at Kuar looked good (when I saw plates passing us) but the service was so rubbish I couldn't recommend it to anybody else. Maybe if you just walked in it would be okay (assuming you could get a table)."

"We actually went back a second time...the food is good....just not quite 5* the staff were very friendly and the ambiance is most pleasant. The crab is good...better than most other places in Ushiaia but different to Alaskan king crab.. The black hake was very good. We would go back again and I suppose that's the test!"

"To me, contrary to the other comments, it seems a beautiful and quiet place. The attention of the mosses is excellent, they are attentive and sympathetic. The food is delicious and we have not had problems with the subject of the bathroom, nor smell of anything while remaining in the place. Congratulations!"

"Based on reviews, I was expecting a spectacular meal for our last night in Ushuaia. Instead, food was average and service was terrible. Our waitress seemed scattered and would walk away while my husband was speaking to her. We watched as people seated after us...were served drinks, three courses and were out the door a good minutes before we managed to finish, due to the inattentiveness of our waitress. Once our orders were placed, we were informed they were out of the fish of the day and we were offered a silver fish It was not good, whatever it was. Crab was average, pumpkin salad was flavorless. Steak chimichurri was good. Lamb stew was mostly lamb and average."

"Cenamos en familia en vacaciones de invierno, la comida es realmente muy buena, gourmet y muy original. Si bien las porciones no son abundantes tienen la justa medida para degustar cada propuesta... imperdible la centolla al natural!! Ambiente muy agradable y carta de vinos acorde. Volveremos!!"

"Excellent meals and prices. The sizes of the meals are a recommended place to eat in family as it has a games room for the kids. I had the opportunity to eat on 3 occasions whose meals I went to describe and recommend. -the loin sandwich (lomo junior b) is a Patagonian loin sandwich (south region of Argentina) exquisite and very soft, tender as a butter. the bread is soft and fresh as if it were freshly baked. the smooth and ready potatoes. super recommended (set images) -rabas: squid tube bounced and fried (as in any place.) plate abundant, large and according to the price. these are accompanied by natural homemade mayonnaise. I recommend asking for a single portion as an entrance and eating with another person, as for one they are endless. -Milanes on horseback with fries: highlighting the size of the milanes and its large portion of fries, there is nothing special to say. In my opinion, the millennasas are very abundant and if they are to eat little with a single portion fill two small stomachs. service: on the occasions I attended this restaurant I was well served, not to mention that on the second occasion there was a delay of meals by hand of the cook in which I had to wait 1 hour for an order. still the food was worth the wait."
