"The description in the menu was not what we received. the bloody mary bar was originally not correct. eating was cold or simply warm. the restaurant was not busy so it should not have been an apology for cold eating. not sure we'll be back soon."

"Update I went back and they cooked my cheese correctly. I tried the chicken fried steak with mac and cheese and french fries it was a delicious. I want to love this place but they fall short a lot. This visit I ordered the fried cheese logs as an appetizer they came back cooked on the outside and frozen on the inside. they took them back and the second try came back with the same results. At this time I left canceling the rest of my order. Second visit back since the mess up. Everything was perfect I got the chicken fried steak with macaroni and cheese and their garlic mashed potatoes are great too. The cheese logs are very good. I left happy."

"Went there for our anniversary, and about halfway through our meal noticed there was a dead mouse on the ground right next to our table. Told them we lost our appetite at that point, leaving half our steak on our plates. It took 20 minutes to get the mouse removed. No effort to rectify the situationI guess that’s what you get for not causing a scene. We certainly understand that things happen, but felt like this situation wasn’t handled very well. Edit 10/10/23 through correspondence they have issued me a credit, which is appreciated."

"I’ve been to Luca downtown several times, and was really hoping Luca West would offer a similar experience. It was very noisy inside the restaurant, making it difficult to hear one another. Our service was very poor our waitress was inattentive and did not come back to our table after our meal was ordered until we had finished our meal and we were ready to leave. We were celebrating an anniversary and appreciated the complimentary dessert, but unfortunately brining a cake to a table that had ordered off the gluten free menu didn’t land well."

"The manager and a host were present when I entered and they did not greet me. I actually think they glared at me, after a few awkward moments I explained that I made a reservation for 10 via opentable, they had no idea what I was talking about. After checking the reservations they found my party and found room for us. I was waiting by the door and when i went to sit on the couches there were two big piles of spit on the floor. The restaurant was fairly empty, but it took forever to order our first round of food. We were sent a new waitress and she was much nicer and more helpful."
