"Good food, good atmosphere, good service…Miss Liberty is definitely worth a try. It very much resembles an American diner and they have plenty of options to choose from, including a list of about different types of burgers. Their portions are huge and the prices...are great (by Swiss standards, of course). Spending Swiss Francs for a burger, fries, and salad is pretty cheap in this area of the world. My husband and I have tried two other American diner type restaurants in the Solothurn vicinity and this one is our favorite. Considering that I am an American, I think that I’m a fairly good judge of diner food. It isn’t completely like a diner one would find in the U.S., but it gets as close as I have found here. The other two places we visited were not bad, but the food here just tasted better to us. The only thing that I can really fault Miss Liberty on is that BBQ sauce is not mayonnaise-based. Though their version of BBQ sauce tastes good, it is far from true BBQ sauce. It doesn’t stop me from going back! Though they are not a diner, they still offer very flexible hours. "A restaurant that looks quite inconspicuous from the outside. You come in and you're greeted by a warm, wonderful barbecue smell. The service was warm and courteous. The food was hearty and varied. Highly recommended! Eaten for two with main course and dessert"
