"Massive seating area with board games available<br/ <br/ Love how its always easy to find seats at Yochi. Love their frozen yogurt as there are no preservatives. Really enjoyed their original and green tea flavour and there are so many toppings to choose from<br/ <br/ My favourite toppings are the mabgo mochi and dark chocolate sauce"

"Lovely traditional restaurant with comfortable chairs, tables that don 't wobble, high quality glassware and proper cloth napkins that the attentive staff lay across your lap when you sit down. The dinner menu isn 't extensive, but some items change every day, and everything is properly cooked and presented. The wines I tried were very good, too. Only two things detract from this dining bliss, one minor, one major: bowls are for soup, pasta and dog food, not lamb or fish dishes. Cease this token trendiness and serve them on a plate, as they 're supposed to be. unfortunately, the 'cappuccino ' was as last century as the decor. The decor is fine, it suits the period style of the place, but that coffee had no place in 21st century Melbourne."

"We had been following along for some time now waiting for their dinner service to commence and we were not disappointed in anyway. We attended for an early weekend dinner. On our arrival, we noticed immediately how much of a standout the architecture and design of the building and surroundings really set the tone of what to expect inside. We were blown away by every little detail.<br/ <br/ We entered and were immediately met and welcomed. The members of staff were all dressed in white shirts with black bow ties, which we absolutely loved. The dining area is large in size and we were seated in the rear of the dining room near the play area. The view into the coffee roasting facilities and beautiful ceiling of flowers was a welcomed view from our table too.<br/ <br/ The kids were very excited by the play area and while it was small, it was adequate to suit our needs. Our suggestion would be, that if it was too busy; to grab a puzzle, small toy or book from there to bring back to the table for your child to play with.<br/ <br/ Rubia Cafe have a tablet on most tables, where guests are able to place their own orders directly through their app. It didn’t replace the exemplary serviced that we received, as staff are still there to assist you with any questions and ensure that your needs are being met. The tablet included photos of most food items and also a button to notify you need assistance. We feel that the tablet does not lower the standard of service, but adds to the great service they offer.<br/ <br/ We ordered the spaghetti bolognese (slow cooked veal and pork tossed with red sauce and cheese) and chicken, vegetables and rice for the kids. We also ordered their garlic bread bruschetta (with garlic sourdough, tomato onion salsa, feta rocket), pink pepper calamari (with seaweed, miso and orange mayo), sticky pork belly (with jack of spades chilli caramel) and chorizo and black tiger prawn linguine (with cherry tomatoes, roasted zucchini, tossed in a lemon olive oil, garlic and onion finished with chilli and rocket).<br/ <br/ The food was very prompt and beautifully presented. The flavours and textures were fantastic. The food was a definite highlight of our visit, as was the service. The kids enjoyed most of the food we served them too. We also ordered the donut pancake for my son, who seems to have a second stomach for sweets. There’s no surprised that he finished the entire dish.<br/ <br/ Staff constantly checked in and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. It’s obvious that their staff are well trained and that it’s a great working environment for them. We can’t fault anything about our visit at all and look forward to returning soon.<br/ <br/ We hope that they'll bring back dinner services again next summer, but until then, we are happy to visit anytime!"

I couldn't stop eating your roast potato Dessert was awesome. My niece devoured her apple crumble and didn't want to share. For me it was the sticky date pudding yummy I can't wait to try the rest of your menu Was soo full when we left Thank you Mr brook"

The staff are always friendly the food is good, and the menu has a good variety of dishes and options available. Highly recommend the pulled pork burger (it's my fave) and their chips are awesome!"
