"Pie fight is a cute hand pie shop in the 9th and 9th neighborhood. You walk up to an outdoor window to put your order in. Several people seemed to have pre-ordered as well and the line moved quickly. You can ask for your pie to be heated and wait 3-4 minutes. There were two savory options and many delicious-sounding sweet options. We ended up trying the blueberry lemon, which was as delicious as it sounds. The pie pastry was perfectly flaky/crispy/soft and the filling was delicious. The pie was heated to the perfect temperature. Even with the napkins and utensils (kindly provided by the person who took our order), the filling tended to get everywhere because we were scarfing down those pies. Will be back to try more flavors!"
