"My favorite place to buy a cake. I bought my first cake from them in 2008 for my birthday and have been coming back ever since. They even made my wedding cake. They have been consistently delicious throughout many, many years. It's clear they have a high standard of excellence that they strive to adhere to. "Only the third time, but its absolutely a family favorite. It's unique enough I would say there is no other place like it in VA. That alone should get your attention. Often most visit in the Summer and Fall and that was the case for me. It's much more than apples which it's often billed as. On a recent the peaches were gorgeous! The shop has lots of fresh goods to not miss. As well do NOT miss out on their legendary cider donuts. It's easy to locate right off highway 64, follow the signs. It's a pull to get up the mountain, be prepared. Plenty of parking once on top. The views are magnificent!"

"Walking into the shop your nose will be pleasantly assaulted with the aromas of every parents or grandparents kitchen you have been in. Honestly the best pie I have ever tasted and with a party of 5 we shared 3 different pies it was quite the treat! This place does not disappoint!"
