"I came here searching for an opportunity to have a vegan brunch in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, LA traffic held me up and I didn’t get there until after the brunch hour, and they were eager to warn me that they close in an hour—even though I had an hour left to order and eat and they weren’t at all packed. Anyway, the menu looked wonderful, but the food was surprisingly bland despite a beautiful presentation. The pulled mushroom sandwich had a subtle barbecue flavor, but it tasted as if it hadn’t been marinated and the oyster mushrooms were not tender. The fudge brownie basically tasted like cacao paste with slight sweetener in it. Actually, my favorite dish was the side salad that had shredded beats on top. It was quite flavorful and the blend of the tart shredded beets complement of the balsamic vinegar dressing very well."

"UHM, SO. the atmosphere is gorgeous and so is the food. i arrived at 7:00pm and it’s probably the most magical time to go because the sun is setting and the fairy lights will come on. i ordered the kung pao cauliflower and the braised mushroom ravioli and the key lime pie. wow. wow. wow. soooo good. i wanted to try everything on the menu. i highly recommend this place for solo dates, couples, family and friends. the employees are kind and sweet."

"Ordered the Original 12 oz with Chia Seeds. Heard recommendations from friends in Santa Barbara that this is a must try shop. Very pleasant and refreshing drink. The orange juice did not overwhelm the strawberry and banana. The consistency was very smooth and remained thick. Hardly any separation between the more liquid parts of the drink from the solids. I don't think going for the 24 oz is necessary but if you're thirsty, it's not a bad deal. Appreciated that they do use paper straws and thankfully did not become too soggy after some time."

"Found Cody 's on Google planning a drive from Orange County to Big Sur. From me, it was exactly as expected. Cafe foo; my Omlette with tri tip was good, but not exquisite. They were open at 7am, big win for a long drive. Several locals showed for door opening like a daily routine. Best eggs from a 10 year old. Good French toast, make sure to mention that because good French toast is hard from a 14 year old. Giant Pancakes from an 8 year old. There is outdoor seating and the inside restaurant was clean. Service was friendly, but I will note it was not busy yet."
