"This is a great spot to watch the comings goings of the ferries on Halifax Harbour. Love the attention to locally sourced foods and the menu offers a variety of gluten free and veg/vegan options. My year-old and I shared the scallop pasta....It was good, but not worth the (it had medium scallops and too much cream sauce). Apple salad was tasty. Lemon tart was good, but was more pastry shell than lemon. We really enjoyed our virgin blueberry lavender mojitos. There is a children's menu, but my little guy wasn't offered anything to keep him busy while we waited for our food. Service was welcoming and friendly."

"On a tour and the group stopped here for a lunch break. Couldn't believe how advanced this location was compared to those in the US. From the new kiosks for ordering to the lobster rolls for lunch and cream cheese Danish, this is what every McDonald's experience should be like. We hit the kiosk and had our order filled before others in line even gave their order. My wife said the lobster rolls were almost as good as those we had earlier in the week in a regular restaurant. I'm not big on cream cheese rolls, but decided to try the strawberry cream cheese Danish and fell in love. LOL On the way home, we saw these advertised in a could of locations in New England and can't wait to see if they have them in Phoenix when we get home."

"We went to the Anchor as a family for the first time. I was excited as 2 foodie friends had raved about it. I had the arrancini and the burger. Both were delicious. Be warned that the burger does not really come with much, a few pickled vegetables. The burger although messy came with a nice slice of pork belly. My husband had the chowder and it wasn't really good. The dill was overpowering and only the potatoes were a tad undercooked. He really didn't enjoy it. The kids didn't feel there was much for them on the menu. They ended up with a French fries. These were good and we got the aoli sauce. I love aoli but this one had way to much lemon juice. Overpowering. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go. There are things on the menu I'd love to try like the donair ravioli. I probably won't be able to drag the kids there again, they'll be saying why can't we just go have pasta at Lafrasca."
