"Finally found a great little Italian restaurant where the food actually lives up to the expectations u get from reading through the menu. The pizzas are absolutely delicious with that sweet tomato base that is so good even on its own. Leg ham and big pieces of juicy pineapple meant I ate 2 pieces of my partner's dinner after eating my own main -a delicious bolognese with fettucine. Sooo good. Even the chips and house made garlic aioli were to die for. Partner liked the unique aussie beers but the aranchini lacked flavour in their filling. Tiramisu was served in a glass and was quite bitter... but i guess some people might like a really strong bitter taste. Would definitely go back as service was so attentive and lovely too."

"As some of the fussiest eaters would they ever be unhappy enough to meet I am really lost for cake if I rated birichino cucina pizzeria this not often happened so that it is better than good and totally awesome! Walking...in unannounced and with a booking, which is totally our style, we, where polite and respectful sit without problem from this moment forward we, where 100% connected to several levels. our dear to conversate in a beloved Italian language, which also fits with our passion for excellent eating, was good and really filled by all in birichino this pizzeria can be anywhere on the mainland or insulate of italy they do not know that they are in suburban melbourne. pizza as it should be, hot from a wood fired many still bubbling, as it lands on its table, it can simply not be better created with a bottle of Italian wine or beer! authentic Italian cuisine from ground to with real passion, what they get here, we proved that when we went two nights later and it was just as good. mila grazie sal and all her excellent team, they are without doubt champions of eating and service 100% a special thanks to aimee and gabriela both beautiful girls! can not be mistaken 10!!!!!"

"What a lovely surprise! After driving past Mimi's for years, we finally made it there for dinner and it was a real treat. Met warmly by the restaurant manager Wim, we were seated at a nice warm table and given some menu suggestions after mentioning I am a vegetarian. I had a massive quinoa and herb salad and hubby had a veggie-laden mushroom risotto. Both were delicious and we are already planning our next visit."

"I tried a delicious mushroom pizza from Pizza Religon! Removed the cheese to make it vegan ; I was so impressed with the generous servings of mushrooms on top. The flavours were on point. Next time I might ask for a thicker crust as I like my crust THICK AF. Keen to go back and try more vegan options!"

"Driving down the street and saw the Deco and it was open for breakfast. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the service was great! The coffee was superb as well. We decided on the smashed avocado on sour dough bread with feta cheese and a poached egg. Both of us liked it very much. The decor was interesting to boot."

"Have eaten here regularly over many years and the prompt service never changes, but neither has the menu over the many years. Fortunately the Vibrante salad never changes in quality either...plenty of seafood in a sweet chilli sauce. The daily specials are about 2 in number so perhaps could be added to, but overall the menu is ever reliable."
