"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"The absolute best home cooking in Austin. Hoover is an icon around these parts and his food is amazing. Personal favorites of mine are the meatloaf, chicken dumplings and fried chicken but there really isn’t a bad choice on the menu. Last but certainly not least are the endless amount of side dishes and desserts. Love this place!"

"We ordered four full combos and they were done so fast, we’re super fresh, completely correct, and we’ll organized WITH condiments. Considering they were closing sort of soon, this is really awesome. The places closer to my house give you worse food, service, and speed with smaller orders in the middle of the day. It was also not busy at all and the drive through was super accessible. This is the perfect “I’m leaving Austin, let me stop for something to eat.” place. It was reasonably priced as well. It has a great vibe and if you’re looking for burgers open late that aren’t Whataburgers, this is the move."

"The inner is so beautiful. the pictures do not do justice. it is a different kind of coffee shop than they find in austin and I loved it. there are many parking spaces and also a beautiful sitting area in the open front."
