"One of Chinatowns best kept secrets till recently went to this restaurant 3 years back when the clientele was all Chinese and the menu was in Chinese too that has changed.... The soup dumplings are to die for ... Juicy and taut and bursts with flavor in ur mouth ... Don't go crazy when they bring the dumplings . Let it cool just a minute or two before u jump in.. U might burn ur lips I did The slow cooked pork tongpo pork is another signature here ...with steamed bread this dish is a delight the real thing as opposed to the momofuku pork buns at their outrageous prices Good lunch specials... Even general Tso chicken tastes different crispier than the run of the mill restaurants ..."

"My family and I are starting to go out and eat again more. Couldn't do it before when Covid 19 was really bad due to the fact both my parents have underlying diseases and health problems. We barely started going out and eat again. Today was a nice Saturday out, so we decided to try this Cafe. I would say it was not a bad choice at all. I only knocked down one star because the parking is very hard to find. It's also home to a giant 99 cents store and many other restaurants and stores. I wish they have a bigger parking lot, and not enough handicapped spots either. That's the only downside. We ordered 4 dishes. One is fried garlic and onion pork chops. One is fried string beans with sliced up beef. The house hen with red rice special. Lastly, I only know the Chinese name for this dish but it's basically marinated fatty pork slices with sweet and sour vegetables. My top favorite was the fried garlic and onion pork chops. It was so delicious and filled with flavor. It melts right in your mouth. The crunchiness was a level 5/5. It is bomb.com. They do a very good job putting in flavor into the pork chops. I will be coming back for this dish again for sure. The fried string beans with sliced beef was also delicious in my opinion. My parents thought it was a little overwhelming on the oil, but for me I think it was delicious. The string beans had so much flavor in it, it's like I can't stop eating it. Even if you hate your veggies, this makes you love your veggies because it's so delicious. I will order this dish again for sure. The house hen with red rice special was my moms favorite. I think it was ok, but apparently my mom loved it. The red rice had a special taste too it which gave it more flavor which was good. The house hen itself was ok. I think they could've added some more flavor to it. Maybe or maybe not order this again. The marinated fatty pork slices with sweet and sour veggies was really extremely good. I'm not a big pork either, but when the pork is made right.... I'm so devour it like a fat kid who loves his ice cream!!!! This dish is my favorite. Both my parents enjoyed this dish too. It was hands down the best one out of them all besides the friend garlic and onion pork chops. This might become our 2nd to go places to go now on the weekends. Happy Eating!!!!!"

"Huddled between a shop and an alley sits Peking Gourmet, a non descript but decent little Chinese restaurant. P.G. is a copy of many of the small bodega-esque Chinese restaurants that are popular in NYC. Inside, this dour hole in the wall there are not many table/benches for dinning-in because most patrons take away their food. However, if you 're brave and hungry enough to enter this joint, you will find that the place is cleaner than it appears upon first sight. In fact the counters and kitchen look properly maintained and the food seems to be kept safely and handled correctly. Peking Gourmet 's edge over competitors is they specialize in quick meal preparation for either take away or dine-in and dash-out options. Considering, how aesthetically unimpressive the place is inside and out, it is pleasantly surprising that the food is actually pretty good and not mysterious or questionable. It should be noted that P.G. does not have the ability to process debt or credit cards and so it is cash only."

"This place was just the closest sushi place to our hotel and the reviews were positive. It has a trendy atmosphere with a big bar and a lot of high top tables in the bar area. It was mostly an after world crowd when we sat down but it started to fill up with regular diners after a while (some others from our hotel). The staff was courteous and very friendly. The sushi was excellent. I don't have any basis of comparison in Boston, but it was close to my favorite from my area. We had steamed dumpling appetizers and Tom yum soup. My daughter absolutely housed the dumplings and the Tom yum soup was just the right amount of spice. Very good. Highly recommend if your staying nearby or work nearby."
