"Out to dinner and the table was so small the water and wine had to be placed on the floor. Disappointing as there were other tables unused . If you go make sure the table is large enough especially if you are sharing dishes...as we had to hurry to finish dishes as the next ones came out. There was no room on the table"

"Our colleague had been pestering us to try this place for ages, and a few weeks ago we finally made the 2 minute walk to have lunch here.<br/ <br/ I ordered the nasi lemak with beef rendang. Rendang was tasty and tender and came with the usual sides. The sambal was served with some large prawns and the coconut rice was very flavoursome.<br/ <br/ Make sure you get here just before noon to beat the queues.<br/ <br/ Next time, curry laksa beckons."

"Laksa Bar offers Malaysian fare in a modern industrial bare bones space. While we were there, there was a vintage Asian movie screening on a large concrete wall in the background, adding to the interesting space. There were plenty of food choices on the menu, and a more limited drink choice, but all at cheap prices. After ordering at the counter, our order arrived swiftly and was obviously more about flavour than presentation. The portions were more than we could eat, which meant there was enough to share with each-other! As the name suggests it is a Laksa bar, not a restaurant, so with that in mind, it ticks the boxes and is a place worth going back to."

"It was a super cold day and we were looking for a place to have pho. We were not here for a while and other Vietnamese restaurants nearby were closed, so we came in. The vegan pho is quite cheap at $16.50 and compares favorably with the amount of tofu and vegetables. There are cheaper pho in the same street, but there are no ingredients. Where the pho falls at Xeom is the broth: it has little to know taste without adding spices, and these are usually non-vegan. If you are happy to put dead squid or bones cha sriracha in your soup, then this place will suit you, but if not prepared for healthy but bland pho."

"The BBQ pork was dry and tough, like it had been cooked and reheated. We also ordered a Chinese broccoli with oyster source dish and that was way too salty. The other dishes were fine. This was the China Bar franchise in Russell st Melbourne, the others might be better but we were really disappointed with this restaurant."

"Great authentic food. The char kuew teow, mee goreng, and clams were a particular highlight for me. This place definitely gives you hawker centre vibes and that is also reflected in the prices too which are really good value for what they offer. Would definitely go back!"
