"We stopped off here whilst walking around Madrid and visiting the railways station. When we walked in all of the waiters ignored us, and continued to when we sat down. There were no menus on the table and we couldn't get anyone to take any notice of us. We noticed on another table a QR code so we scanned that and managed to find a menu, Eventually a sullen looking waiter came to the table, I asked in Spanish if he spoke English to which he replied No because I am Spanish! He then questioned everything we asked for with lots of tuts and sighs. It then took an age for our meals to arrive. Whilst sitting there we noticed that all the Spanish customers were being given menus and the waiters were chatting with them about the food. Ours was slapped down on the tables without the waiter even acknowledging us. The food was bad quality badly cooked and when our bill arrived very expensive. We had to ask several waiters to get the bill , and when we left everyone totally ignored us. It was pretty obvious that tourists were not welcome !"
