"This family-run restaurant for over 45 years in costa da caparica and three generations work on it (grandmother in the kitchen, mother d. ana (the shiny star) in the grill, man son who offers the service. honest people care for food for the soul, made with. passion and love. I buy as Portuguese in the regular fish on the market and grill at home; I changed my habits because of the value for the money and the quality of this restaurant; I went here every day of my stay in portugal. I would recommend alheira (a traditional Portuguese court); the owners drive 800km each weekend to pick up the best alheira and serve it in the restaurant. all fishing options are good! there is no way to make it wrong. the restaurant is popular with native and foreigners, the best way to ensure that a table comes around 12 o'clock and 6.30-7 o'clock after they may have to wait a little. thank you, d. ana, for all the beautiful meals! we will see her next year again when we are back in portugal"

"The places were always busy, it might make sense to arrive early. the food the staff and the cocktails are good, there is no great selection of dishes, but everything we tasted was delicious. The interior is very South American, you can die under a photo of Che if you are in such things."

"At first glance it looks like a fancy looking place, but even with thongs, tshirt and shorts they welcomed me in as though i was any other customer. I was only thinking of going to a cafe as my attire was beach worthy at best.Service is friendly, even with the smallest of details as the waitress smiling as she walks past and makes eye contact.Inside appearance looks way above anything expected. Elegant but homely at the dame time.Now for the food. OMG and just amazing. I had the rabbit dish and in my 3 weeks of holidays in Portugal eating out for alnost every meal, i cannot remember any other dish that has had the same impact as this.Meat was temder and plenty of sauce, but not watery sauce or full of oil..... the sauce was think and tasty and i even liked the dish as it dripped over the side.Amd finally the price.... The best ending to the story. It was the dish of the day which could be had as a menu (meal deal) with bread, drink and coffee for less than €8. I would gladly have paid 3 times the price for the dish alone.All up, it was one of those experiences i will tell people as one, if not the best meals ive ever had."
