"My husband and i didn't stay here as sadly it was booked up. We did however come here to eat during our stay in Mancora and it was delicious, the service friendly and helpful. We would HIGHLY recommend if your looking for a beautiful place to sit and look out at the sea."

"This is definitely the best restaurant we've been eating at so far! Before we went to Peru we heard so much about the food and how it suppose to be one of the best food destinations in the whole world. We have been in Peru for almost 3 weeks now and yes we find the food good, but it wasn't until we eat at Saxsay restaurant that we understood what people was talking about. The food here is amazing and is definitely a must when in mancora! At lunchtime the have at set menu for 10 soles. The evening menu divers in price and has a lot to choose from so there will be something for everyone."

"As Brisa del Pacífico was closed that Sunday night we went for a second time to La Perla del Chira.They serve a plain menú del día (soup, fish/chicken dish/drink) for 7 soles but it's nothing worth writing home about.Entrees are a tad more expensive than Brisa del Pacífico and the setting is less appealing with a view over some market stalls but the food is OK. Como Brisa del Pacífico estaba cerrado ese domingo por la noche nos fuimos por segunda vez a La Perla del Chira.Sirven un sencillo menú del día (sopa, pescado/pollo con arroz y legumbres y un refresco) por 7 soles, pero no es nada del otro mundo.Los platos son un poco más caros que los de Brisa del Pacífico y el entorno es menos atractivo con vistas a algunos puestos del mercado, pero la comida está aceptable."
