"We were in regua on a day that was one of their celebrations. this restaurant was open and busy with locals. we have one of the last tables, they had a menu that had their daily specialties in English and Portuguese. I decided. to have the suppe that was a sweet soup and was good. then I ordered the salat, which was a large plate of wonderful tomato, salat and mild swirling, with a light vinegar-olive oil dressing. we had olives and brot and her house white wine. my man had the combination plate that had so much meat that even he had a hard time to finish it. it was all very good to eat. overall it was such a great Portuguese experience. then to finish everything, I go to the counter to pay and it was only 12euro!"

"Tour groups visit this restaurant regularly and in case you arrive late the choice of mains is limited. We went for a late lunch and enjoyed the great view over the valley and the home cooked meals. It seems the Mama is cooking and the family does the service. Be aware they speak only Portugues and nearly no English but it is really worth a visit."
