"Servicio pésimo. Tardaron muchísimo tiempo en atendernos solo para tomar nota de lo que queríamos. Dos pidieron taco na pedra, que es una carne que te traen para cocinar en una piedra caliente, y se olvidaron de traernos las patatas, Además ni siquiera nos pusieron un plato para ir poniendo los trozos de carne que se iban cocinando lo que supuso que los últimos trozos estuvieran demasiado hechos. A esto hay que añadir que uno de los trozos de carne estaba todavía congelado por el medio. En cuanto al bacalao una de las partes del trozo estaba bien pero la otra estaba aguada y seca al mismo tiempo. Una decepción. Todo esto se debió en gran parte a que nuestra mesa la atendieron tres camareros (éramos 5 comensales), entre ellos el jefe, que solo entorpecía el trabajo de los otros camareros. Precio demasiado elevado y mala calidad del servicio y la comida comparado con otros sitios de Portugal"

"We stopped here for lunch on a quiet weekday. We were a bit put off by the recent negative reviews but our experience was very good. Perhaps a speciality chargrill seafood restaurant isn’t the best place to order hamburgers but the seafood was great. Started with cheese, bread, fish soup and tomato and onion salad. Soup was fine with chunks of fish and tomato. Salad was simple but delicious combined with the cheese, fresh bread and olive oil. The main course was grilled fish and prawns served with potatoes and salad. Huge servings. The standout is the fish turbot, sea bass and swordfish. Very fresh, simply chargrilled dressed with olive oil, lemon and salt. It was fantastic. Prawns were sweet and tender. Similarly the boiled potatoes are served just salt and olive oil and the grilled fish juices on the platter. Washed down with the house vinho verde. €40 for both of us. Host was very friendly. Location on the beach front is great. Recommend for those looking for fresh, simple but delicious fish"

"El Fortaleza ha sido un restaurante al que hemos ido mucho y lo hemos recomendado a mucha gente. El otro día 15 de agosto intentamos reservar pero nos dicen que ya no reservan Esto en si mismo ya impide que vayamos ahí, no podemos arriesgarnos a hacer mas de 60 kms para ver si tienen mesa. Por otra parte la calidad de la comida un verdadero desastre el pulpo y la carne lo devolvemos. El lenguado (a 19.9 eur la ración) era congelado. Nunca nos habían atendido tan mal y con tan mala calidad. Por supuesto no volveremos y hablaremos con nuestros conocidos"
