"Tent for Din L Restaurant Week. A for Effort. F for complete failure in service. B for food, because everything was so obsolete. They brought a fun, very nice effort for restaurant week. What was it – IIRC, a tiny piece of Soba and something, and a tiny piece of broth to pour it over. I ordered: 1. Braised Pork Belly – Cranberry Beans, Mussels, Tomatoes, Breadh. Was it really necessary to add a lot of salt to pigs belly? If I could have removed the salt, the dish would have been delicious. 2. Seared Barramundi – Jerusalem Artichoke, Cipollini Onions, Chorizo, Shrimp. Barramundi was cooked for perfection. So moist and delicious. The rest, well, again with all the salt. Maybe they even salted the chorizo. 3. Chocolate bread pudding – chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream. I enjoyed it very much. Couldn't see salt! The bread pudding was quite easy, although it looked so rich. The food would have been an A, but for the very heavy hand with the salt. Service. The waitress was cold and perfunctory. We paid cash. She never came back with our change. We had to ask. It turned out that she had just assumed the rest was her tip. Excuse me? She never asked if we had to come back. Every server asks or brings it back! The boldness of her to assume that we gave her a high range tip when she was not very good to begin. Unprofessional."

"We haven 't been here in a while, it had closed several times before. It was great to see them open and a nice change in how they do things. The small plates tapas was imaginative and very good. Lots of choices and the wine was good. Not real busy so a lot of personalized service and chat, which we loved. And when we didn 't want to chat they left us quietly alone. Perfect!"

"I first went here not knowing what to expect. I went with an open mind. I was just going to order and trust that it would be amazing. I have thoroughly enjoyed every experience I have had at Bashan. There is something special about going somewhere, trying something new and being able to trust that it will be great. This has happened each of the approximately 10 times I have gone. The staff is knowledgeable and always has a great attitude. I feel that it is a great safe bet for when my wife and I need a special dinner."

"Lilli was one of the best, most attentive and positive servers I had for years! She's an excellent employee. The food was fabulous! The wedge salad was brilliant with the right amount of blue cheese. The act was succulent. So juicy and perfectly prepared. And the crème brûlée was ridiculous! Couldn't recommend this place anymore."
