"We have eaten there times during the past few weeks. Although it is in a strip mall the room has been decorated very nicely . The food is very good and the service is excellent. The chef and his wife are the owners and they work hard to make your time there enjoyable. It is a byob so although the prices are a bit high the opportunity to bring your own wine makes it reasonable"

"Nice lunch on Palm Sunday. Service was excellent, food great and prices as expected. We enjoyed the soup du jour, cup of potato soup which was creamy and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. I had avocado toast which I asked for 'no onions ' but it came without the roasted peppers either. My guess is they are prepared together. But the arugula, avocado, and balsamic glazed toast I had was tasty. My husband enjoyed the turkey club, plenty of thinly sliced turkey breast, tomatoes, bacon, lettuce on a toasted whole grain bread. The fries were perfectly cooked and the small bowl of ketchup was portioned well. We started with mimosas and were served drinks that had small bottles of champagne that were half full. So we enjoyed making another mimosa from the OJ and champagne ."

"Brought 2 friends who had never been (my favorite for lunch before matinee at ACT 2). Lots to choose and they enjoyed every bite! Don 't forget dessert...share, even if you can 't take another bite! Dinner is just as delicious (lots of specials) but MUCH more energetic. OH....must order soup...especially lobster bisque."

"We had a great dining experience. The food was so fresh and full of flavor. Nice sized portions. Our server was attentive and friendly. The owner came to our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Had the calamari arugula appetizer which was very good. The seafood dish called Delgolfo was excellent. Very creative dishes. Will be back."

"The worst experience! After our waiter told us that it was the house specialty two of us ordered the calf skirt. It was dry and overhauled. Our mistake not to ask the price! The bill came and it was $95,90 for the two! Definitely not worth it! Then when we paid the bill that we asked the tip wrong (our mistake!, and the water came back to our table very annoyed, what was the thing with the service? We said it was good, then he threw the bill on the table and said it was worth more than 10%! We apologized, said we understood it wrong, and he stole it! Then when we recalculated, he comes back to the table with his phone and tells us what the tip should be! We should have just got up and go, but we've changed the tip? he didn't get 20%!! Will NIE go back! Since then we have heard from many people who said they will never go back! How we miss the village of Tavern!"
