"Here on a date night for some urgently needed stress relief and it was AMAZING! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. My friend has a pepper chocolate, I have a caesar salad and we share the parm frits. It was amazing. Caesar Dressing is also the restaurant recipe! You also want to scream our amazing server! His name is Graham and he is super nice and he took his time to talk to ALL of the customers."

"We went here for a birthday celebration and unfortunately it was mediocre and not worth the prices. The food was served warm but not hot and the temperature was wrong on the filets with them being over cooked. One person ordered the ribeye and it had more fat that meat. Of all the food we ate in our party the best things were the bread and butter and the grits which says alot. The food was ok but the steaks especially were dissapointing for the price point especially when compared to other area restaurants. The two martinis I had were delicious. I ordered cheesecake for dessert to go and I was very surprised to see that it appeared to be two layers but the top layer was almost an inch of plain cream cheese which was very strange and disappointing. The service was slow and it took a very long time to get our checks correct and paid. I personally can not recommend this restaurant. My meal cost over $100 but the food and service would have been better at Outback or any other lower cost alternative. The ambiance was nice and we had a private room but it did not make up for the food at all. Not a single person in our party said they would come back or recommend to others. Edited review just add the picture I had of that sad excuse of a cheesecake."

"We decided to try The Vintage after our negative experience at a coffee chain. The ambiance was surprisingly very creative down to the smallest decor and detail. We ordered a blueberry scone which wasn?t that great. The taste wasn?t so fresh out ofthe oven nor scone like. We were told Baton Rouge is known for their beignets. We requested an order and after trying one, wewere not so sure why all of the hype. The beignets tasted exactly like a funnel cake. The Vanilla iced latte with almond milkwas quite good I would definitely recommend. As for their cortado, it was okay. We loved the coffee area and were shocked tosee a bar and that they have an happy hour menu. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, great time."

"This wonderful cafe is evolving constantly. Regarding the first comment on vegan options, there is always a tasty and wholesome vegan soup option, as well as several refreshing salads. Recently, the Vegan Deluxe was added to the menu. This sandwich features a succulent black bean salad, fresh guacemole, spinach, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Prepared on whole wheat and grilled lightly with olive oil this sandwich even satisfies self proclaimed carnivores! In response to the 'over priced under sized sandwich ' comment, for two dollars more than the outrageous $8, you can have any other item on the menu in addition. This includes quiche, salad, or soup; all made from ingredients which are either locally sourced, organic, or both."
