"We were on a sentimental tour in Dresden. Our last visits dated from the late and early It was amazing to see how the city was upgraded. No smell of lignite, no air pollution and a high quality of town-restauration. We visited...Restaurant Yenidze with a group of international friends. In the GDR-time this building was a cigarette-factory. With its appearance like a mosque it is a peculiar combination.We were seated on the outside terrace with a panoramic view over Dresden. The food was of good quality, the staff friendly and also the service was excellent. Don´t miss this restaurant with a view!"

"Well, I'll be damned. This pasta was amazing. The spinach ricotta ravioli was out of this world. It brought me to tears and I will be returning tomorrow. The truffle ravioli was a close second. Service was impeccable and I cannot thank them enough for a wonderful evening."

"Decided at the last minute to go here for dinner because we had skipped lunch as we often do when touring. We were intrigued by the ingredients mentioned in some of the other reviews. We arrived just after 4pm. Because it was warm we chose to eat inside where there are long modern tables and benches in light colored wood. A long row of windows makes the restaurant bright and cheerful. We placed our order and paid at the service counter. The menu was available in English. We chose a whole wheat pasta with arugula and vegetables and a pasta with a creamy Gorgonzola sauce, apples and pine nuts, along with two bottles of Meissner beer. The dishes were delivered to our table quickly and both were delicious. The ingredients were fresh and well chosen in combination and the pasta lovely. Service was pleasant. We would definitely choose to eat here again and highly recommend this establishment."

"Four of us went here on a Friday night. Booking essential at busy times as it is a popular place with locals. Good daily specials board as well as main menu to choose from. Fish, meat and veggie catered for. Open kitchen so you can...see what's happening. Starters/antipasti on view in refrigerated counter like in a deli. Good choice of wine. Promt, friendly and attentive service. Bistro furniture: wood etc but very comfortable. (Baby high chairs for lunch. Great food. Great wine. Around £100 for four with shared anti-pasti (fish, veggie, meat with bread and dipping oil/balsamic followed by thoroughly enjoyable, and well portioned mains and 2 litres of wine as well as two bottles of water. Would have been an excellent 5 star but for the parking so only 4 as I'm very stingy. Would recommend as far as food and service is concerned. But a taxi fare there and back would bump up the cost if it's raining. However if you want to avail yourself of the excellent red wine and you don't want to walk then the wine is worth the taxi fare...."
