"Our second trip to Nk'Mip Vineyard and Restaurant confirmed our review from our first visit six months ago....simply outstanding food, people, and atmosphere. We did a 4-wine tasting with Loyd, who shared excellent knowledge of the wines and exceptional food pairing ideas...I think he and...his wife are chefs, judging from some of the dishes he has created. Next we had lunch outside and undercover during a rain shower, but stayed warm with the blankets and kind and attentive service from Natalya. She was so friendly and fun to talk with, it was like having a meal at a good friend's home. We both had the Wagyu burger and again it was completely off-the-chain delicious. The depth and variety of flavours in this meal are like no other burger you've ever had...right down to the homemade sweet pickle from Mom's house and her summer pickling. Backing it up was the cream of potato soup with cruchy deliciousness garnishing it on top. Again, a ridiculous medley of sublime flavors and gastronomic perfection. 5-star rating and huge thanks to chef, Ian Stilborn, for putting such care and creativity into the menu, and for the quality and presentation of food he and his staff deliver. Folks, stopping at Nk'Mip for lunch is a must when you are out here. We drove 200 miles for this burger and experience, and can't wait to do it again. Make the stop...you will be glad you did."
