"Wooden trestle tables with benches. Why would you not expect a fry-up in these surroundings? I had the clam roll, except they substituted oysters on my request. It reminds me of a New Orleans neighborhood eatery. N.O. bread is better tho. My son ordered the lobster roll. I did not try it but it looked like the meat paste that comes out of a can. I downed a calcium carbonate later when the grease kicked in."

"We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation time and were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. The bar area looked like a bad country club bar that desperately needed to be remodeled and the lights dimmed. I went for restaurant week with friends who could not otherwise afford the meal. I can afford the regular meals, but I would never go back. Although the service was quick, it was abrupt, condescending and they even removed my main course before I was finished. They couldn't get us out of there fast enough. They simply shouldn't offer the restaurant week deal if they are going to make the experience so unpleasant. I'd rather pay full price somewhere else, and it's likely that my friends would too. Don't waste your money here."

"Chicken liver pate and AMAZING cheesy popovers to start- you know this will be a tasty meal! Had some fresh oysters to start followed by a steak. Had the braised carrots and asparagus on the side. Everything was prepared just right and very tasty! For dessert the blueberry lemon meringue pie with lemon sorbet was a perfect ending! Liked the vibe here more than at the NY location – a little more relaxed and less “business”."

"Hey food lovers, I really enjoyed myself at the Mayflower Club. The ambience is simply amazing. The service was A1 from start to finish. The manager was very attentive as well. When I say their lamb is in my top 3, I really mean it. You want to savor every single bite. The food presentation was perfect. Perfect for first dates, birthday party or just a casual night out. Provided video below. Food:Smoked Lamb chops with asparagus, potato purée and pickled onion."

"Our server was excellent and attentive, but unfortunately, the food was just okay. We ordered empanadas as a starter, which I felt wasn’t made to order. We got them fairly quickly, but they were just warm and a little soggy when we got them. Also, when we received our plates, the mashed potatoes were cold, not room temperature, but cold. The rest of the food was good, but I don’t think it was worth it."

"2nd time same week and brought a new friend who loved it too! During summer, there 's a 2nd floor that 's open Fri/sat. Be sure to ask for DANIEL who is one of the best bartender/waiters I 've ever had! Very accommodating, approachable and knows how to practice hospitality like a pro Makes the experience personalized so you feel known and welcomed Again- great overall experience for $30pp There was free street parking after 630pm this Fri night Sampler is fun for party vibe Very tender chicken pork sticks If u don 't know what to get and have TMJ issues, I recommend those! DANIEL even gave us individual sauce to-go cups upon request!!!! Of note- yelp times r wrong. They r open til 11pm some nights. Also- feel free to call for reservations even tho website may say no The staff have been very accommodating this past week w same-day requests"
