"THIS is where the locals go and is one of my favorite 'go to ' restaurants when family and friends are in town. The food is traditional and delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. The servings are enormous. The service is great. Many of the servers speak good English. Inside is 'gemütlich '. The outside is packed when the weather is nice. Great area for the kids to play outside while you 're enjoying your friends. Great views. We have come for the goose at Christmas time, for 'Spargel ' (asparagus) season, and many times in between. Also have given gift certificates so others can come and enjoy. Highly recommended!!!"

"Im Rahmen einer Vereinsveranstaltung war ich 2015 im Hirsch. Angesichts der doch gehobenen Preise erwartete ich eine entsprechende Bedienung und Küche. Es blieb leider bei der Erwartung. Die Bedienungen hatten keinen Überblick oder auch keine Lust, sich um die Gäste wirklich zu kümmern. Bereits das erste Getränk dauerte ewig und es wurde auch nicht geschaut, ob jemand ein weiteres Getränk möchte - da musste man sich schon selbst drum kümmern. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war allenfalls Durchschnitt, das Fleisch von der Größe her sehr mickrig. Für deutlich über 20 Euro muss das anders aussehen. Mich hat der Hirsch das erste und letzte Mal gesehen."
