"We walked past the Museumscafe, and looked at the Lunch offer "Asparagus Euro 6.90" so we took a seat in the courtyard (very nice) ordered and had lunch, food good service good ambiance good, but when the bill came we were surprised that the price had gone up to Euro 7.90 per portion !!Upon asking the waitress we were told that the Chef had run out of Asparagus and had to buy more locally and it as more expensive, so since we had come in and ordered he had taken the lunch board down and raised the price, new one for me !!!!!!!"

"Anläßlich einer kleinen Tagung gingen wir in das Alt Elsass zum Abendessen. Schöne Atmosphäre, fein gekleidetes Personal, sodass wir zunächst dachten, wir wären underdressed. Mit 16 Personen keine große Gruppe aber nach und nach stellte sich heraus daß die Personal-Koordination nicht stimmte. Manche Gäste wurden erst gar nicht bedient, dann wollte man es wohl wieder gutmachen und lieferte alles doppelt. Das Menü beinhaltet einige Elsässer Spezialitäten aber auch internationale Küche. Leider fehlte bei den Speisen der letzte Pfiff und mehr. Mein Pfeffersteak war zwar ok. gebraten, schwamm aber in einer undefinierberen geschmacklosen dunklen Sauce (wie auch die panierten Schnitzel meiner Tischnachbaren) zusammen mit den ungesalzenen Rosmarin Bratkartoffeln. Auch meine Tischnachbarin gegenüber war mit ihrem Flammkuchen nicht ganz glücklich.Versuche Getränke nachzubestellen scheiterten oft daran, daß der Kellner nach mehrmaligen Rufen nur eine Person abfragte und dann schnell wieder verschwand, ohne den Kollegen am Tisch die Chance zu geben, auch etwas zu bestellen. Die Gläser wurden meist eh alle am Tisch belassen. Eine Gaststätte weiter zu gehen scheiterte daran, daß die Bedienung sich mit anderen Gästen unterhielt und erst nach ca. einer Stunde kam um die Zahlung entgegen zu nehmen."

"Yes I have the right cafe in Fulda now!! WOW! What can I say? The best coffee and cake. Massive slices of freshly baked cakes and slices and delicious coffee. Meals were delicious and perfect. More affordable and perfect place for the average family. Service... is excellent and very helpful!! The BEST Café/Restaurant ever!! Thank you. You did my day!! Everyone has to taste this beautiful cafe/restaurant!! I miss your café and wish you were here in Australia!"
