"It is not obvious that this is the restaurant of the Swan Hotel, it is excellent. Relaxed comfortable dining, a small menu that does not change frequently is a reliable indicator of quality and value. We both had goats cheese salads followed by sea bass. The fish was perfectly cooked, accompanied by fresh asparagus, crushed potatoes and parmesan crisps, it doesn’t sound much but everything was really delicious. With desserts and a bottle of wine less than £100, which in Wells is a bit of a bargain."
