"Unexpected repairs gave us an opportunity to visit Pembroke. The Taxi driver recommended Thai Gardens - and we are so happy it did. Excellent food. The owner was very friendly and provided great service. The only thing that would have made it better would be if it was licensed."

"I can only share my experience my one time experience on a busy weekend, with a fixed menu.First off Staff was INCREDIBLE. They easily handled our 15 person party on VA Tech graduation weekend. We had multiple changes to our res, and they were super sweet to our group, including 2 under 10.Food? Meh. It was tasty. A fixed ish 4 course menu is never a chef's place to shine. It was a solid meal. Now, worth the $60 per head? Probably not.Cocktails? Ok, tended a bit sweetVenue? Cool. With cows.Location? Easy drive out from Blacksburg, but gravel road for the last mile which was a little rough for us city folk in a sedan."

"My spouse and I went there to have a nice dinner. When we arrived there, we were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area, there are high-tops in the bar area that come first serving. When we came to the bar, there was a two-top that was empty, but there was a handwriting on notebook paper that said? Reserved for Diane 5:30?. So we sat on an open four, and the bartender asked us if there were four of us. We only told us two, and she said that it was reserved for four and said that it should take the two upstairs. My spouse reacted, and the bartender swore how to say? I told my spouse to forget, then the bartender said something different and everyone at the bar turned around and looked at us. We decided to go. It is very disappointing as we are really looking forward to a nice dinner. We felt like we were treated like second-class citizens. It's disappointing when both families grew up eating at Cafe Christina and Christina? The hostess tried to fix it, but I just wanted to cry so we left."

"I would like to give everyone the advantage of doubt. But considering that I traveled to other continents (quebec doesn't count haha) to bask in the glory that the Crepe is, I wouldn't be an honest person when I said that the experience was here... everything just after the subpar. Not best. Because the presence of FOH Donnes is anything but hospitable. the feature speciality is a pancake that forgets French. Love and passion in the design menu is absent. 2 stars for the threshing I tasted real truffles."
