"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"

"I would’ve given this place a two star review, however, I brought it down to one star because of the waitress who served us. First and foremost, they do have really good wings. Let’s start off with the good. The not so good, was the service and the burgers. I did not enjoy my burger whatsoever. It was greasy and absolutely disgusting. The waitress clearly saw that I only took one small bite of my burger and never even questioned whether I liked it or not or if they could remake it. Still charged me full price that was truly disappointing. Basic customer service adequate, would be to ask the customer if they enjoyed their food or how things were? But she clearly she did not. Overall, I would not return to this copperhead. I’ve had much better experiences at the copperhead in Allentown."
