"This is the place for a no fuss avocado on toast for those mornings where you want to cram as much of it in your mouth but don't particularly feel like preparing it yourself.<br>

a beautiful little cafe on the streets of Mount Gravatt East is where you go for that. They serve not two but THREE slices of their rye toast, with a wedge of lemon (of course!) for $8 <br>

The man that served us was extremely cheerful, although, having hiked in the snow for two days, getting off a plane the night before and also sporting a head cold for the 5th day, we unfortunately couldn't match his enthusiasm.<br>

Coffee was good, and a large size is actual a large size (woo!) please note the freckle on the spoon, as my partner didn't notice it and went to stir his coffee.. and.. oops a mocha was created haha<br>

i was quite surprised with the size of the bacon as a side for the price ($2.50) three pieces, just enough. My partner ordered a side of feta, and it came in a huge bowl - no, he didn't accidentally stir it into his coffee ;) <br>

they also open at 6am on sunday, which i feel is rare on this side of town. great for those early rises - not that i'm one of those"

"Was expecting great things here, but the coffee didn't cut it for me. Had a rather bitter taste & a huge amount of foam with not much crema. The barista was nice enough & they do some simple freshly prepared breakfast dishes<br>
2/7/16 Actually decided to try again as I was with my partner & the planned breakfast venue was closed so this one was the first we passed as an alternative. The coffee was better this time around & I loved the avocado with dukkah. Partner was unimpressed with his eggs, as one was broken & overcooked & hidden by the good one which they sneakily placed on top"

"We've been here each Sunday for the past month because of a nearby course.The food is truly excellent but the service is mesmerisingly slow!This morning we watched as three of the waitstaff stood talking to each other rather than take or deliver orders.I'm assuming that this is a family business because if they weren't related to the owner, surely they would have been fired by now!!"
