"I live in Dickson, about a 45 minute drive to Clarksville. It also takes about 45 minutes to get to Nashville where there are dozens of top rated coffee shops. It used to be that Nashville had the only place for coffee around here. But the more I drink Plumb Line 's coffee, the more I realize that Nashville 's coffee is now a letdown in comparison. I find myself drinking a cup at Crema or 8th Roast and think, 'It 's good, but not as good as Plumb Line. ' ?!?!? I didn 't expect that. To name your coffee shop after a word for 'setting the standard for all others, ' is a tall order. But honestly, they 've done it. The owner, if you pay attention, has this unwillingness to serve anything but greatness. He 'll often dump out shots that don 't meet his standards. I think I 've tried just about all of the drinks on the menu, but my current drink of perfection is the 6 oz. Cuban latte. Holy bologna."

"What wasn't great: The rooms are nice enough, but the bed was a little worn out and the carpet was wet and a bit smelly. Not sure what that was about. The soap dispensers in the shower were a nice touch, but one ... the soap... was empty. As was the ATM. The laundry was out of order as well. The bistro was out of several items, including ALL red wine options.What was AWESOME: Chef Robert! He was the highlight and his burger was AMAZING! As was his service and his avocado toast! I would give him 6 stars if I could! The rest of the place... needs a bit of work."
