"My mother and I come from Rohnert Park next to Santa Rosa just to have lunch and pick up many tasty treats! Best bakery I've ever been to. We love Creekside Bakery! The employees are always very friendly and always very helpful! My favorite is theprincess cake, and chocolate triangles, but even their cookies are delectable!"

"One of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat I wish they had more than one location! My favorite item of theirs would be their seasonal shakes. So far I 've had their Caramel Apple Shake and Melon Berry Bliss delicious! For food, I 've had their Simple Salad, Quinoa Lentil Bowl, and Evolution Bowl. Portions are HUGE! One order seems catering size it will last for days! I 've also had their avocado toast (bread was too thick for a dish I feel should be on the lighter side), Ignacio Acai Bowl (it was okay), Detox Smoothie (didn 't have a smoothie texture and I would have liked a stronger watermelon taste to it), and soft serve (will pass on that next time). I recently went to order their current seasonal shake, Pumpkin Pie Shake, but they didn 't have the ingredients to make it so that was a disappointment.Service seems to be hit or miss. One time the guy working the counter was on the phone for a long time taking an order. As a customer, it would have been nice to have gotten a thank you for waiting, but he did approach me right away when I arrived (I just wasn 't ready to order yet). The guys bringing out food orders have consistently been pretty good though.The outdoor eating area is nice. Tables are plentiful, though not regularly wiped down from what I 've noticed on visits.Despite some of the misses, I love the variety of healthy options and their shakes, and I would love to come back to try more of their offerings."

"My wife and I went to Rickey 's on the evening of Feb 17th 2023. We were in Novato for a Valentines weekend because my wife had to work on Valentines. We chose Rickeys because it seemed nice and it was close to where we were staying. I don 't usually write reviews unless something is exceedingly bad, or good. Well, this one was all bad on our server. We came in for dinner, and after a brief wait were seated. My wife ordered wine, and as I don 't drink alcohol, I just asked for water. My wife got her wine but the water never came. After many times trying to get our servers attention as she went by, I finally asked her again for water. She said sure. We ordered the grilled brussel sprouts, and our dinners. I ordered the Salmon, wife ordered the steak. Brussels came out after a while, and were very good. Still no water. Eventually another worker came out with a tray and passed out waters to every table. Cool. Someone else from the kitchen brought out our dinners. They we 're pretty good. At $30 per plate it would have been nice if they came with soup or salad, or even a small bread basket, but nope. Our server asked my wife if she wanted another glass of wine, and my wife said yes. We eat our whole dinner, no wine came, but we can see our server serving other drinks, putting in orders, and talking to other customers. She would walk right by our table and not even glance over. Well, our dinner was almost done, and I finally again got our servers attention and told her to just forget the wine. She said Oh sorry, are you sure ? We said yes. She said Are you sure? It 's on the house . My wife said, On the house? Well OK then . So off our server goes, and we wait. I jokingly said to her, watch her forget this too . Well, we wait, and wait, all while watching our server tending to things other than doing what she said she was going to do make up for forgetting us in the first place. Unbelievable. I finally had to flag her down and ask for our check. No mention of the wine we that never got. I 'm still irritated with myself for leaving a $6 tip. After thinking about all of this afterwards, there should have been no tip. I mean seriously, all she did was take our order, bring us one glass of wine, and basically ignore us the rest of the time. Our server was an older lady, I didn 't get her name, but unfortunately she was the standout weak link of the evening. I 've worked for decades in foodservice and will go above and beyond to give foodservice workers the benefit of the doubt, but this was just beyond ridiculous."

"It is so cute inside It kinda looks like a little log cabin. The floral shop next door adds to the vibe. Alternative looking young crew which is different from the typical vanilla Novato citizen. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich with bacon. I was pleased with my biscuits and gravy. They put herbs on the gravy. We came back a second time and tried the Princess Cake and it was 10/10. The savory waffle was like a cheese waffle and the creme burlee french toast was very sweet. We did a 6 slice side order of maple house bacon and to us it was the star of the show. Both times we got really full. The bakery part looked pretty too. Price was $40 for 2 meals no dessert no drinks or $51 for 2 meals, side of bacon and one dessert."
