"Our stay at the Quogue Club came at the tail end of a long vacation in the US, and it turned out to be the best place to end our holiday. It is situated in a quiet historic village called Quogue, and it is just before North Fork and South Fork which makes it perfect for exploring both without doing unnecessary backtracking. Well appointed rooms. Very comfortable bed with luxurious sheets. Loved the detailing of the club logo on the linen and towels. Very good upkeep of the rooms turns out that the walls had recently been painted and there was not a spot or mark on the walls. Good wifi. They have connecting rooms though I suspect that the number of connecting rooms might be limited. They have a small kids room which was great for my younger kids. Breakfast was excellent. Service was impeccable. Dallas was very accommodating and helpful, and he gave good restaurant suggestions in and around Quogue. The village residents' private beach is a short drive away and you need to get the permit from the front desk to enter the beach. I considered cycling there but it made more sense to drive given that we were carrying bags/food/etc for a picnic. The club provides foldable chairs and umbrellas (which is another reason why it makes more sense to drive to the beach). The beach is clean and has powder sand. Bring your own food and water as understandably there are no shops along the beach. If you are looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it."
