"I always come to a brunch with my friends because I like how intimate and fucked in the whole environment. the ambiente is a 10 10 10 for me to be honest and I love the mood. br I highly recommend their cabinets and bakeries because they are always so tasty, so if they are undecided with their brunch menu, they can only ask for the cabinet food. br I love her cold pressed juices eh. it feels so refreshing and always a better option if they are not a coffee or teetrinker. the cream was in order to be honest, I just wished that it had less ricotta in it and had a bit different, but the complete breakfast of the hugos is so good, especially that avocado eh. br br when they come there with their friends, be sure to come together as waiting for each other, because there are several cases that the waiter ended us on different tables that come, the small but only become confused."

"Came in to try the pbj before it disappears again and their kumara fries but due to high demand they a proper printed sign out saying they're all out of the fries unfortunately. <br/>We had the pbj, american muscle single, bio fuel and fries. The pbj was as good as I thought it would be, it was ok, I quite liked the pickles on the american muscle but it was a bit on the dry side. The mrs always enjoys her bio fuel. The aioli that comes with the fries is the thing that I enjoyed the most.<br/>Service and ambience is your usual good standard."

"Business' name is the complete opposite of the business model. Poetic really. You can order a basic eggs on toast and it'll still make you cry. Tell your wallet to quit whining because damn, that wholegrain toast is probably what heaven is paved out of"

"This was a highlight of our NZ trip. A warm, cosy, stylish space and delightful, attentive staff. But what stands out is the food – this is the food you long for when you dream of France. From the ham-laden, succulent pissaladiere to the moules mariniere made with plump, green-lipped mussels, then the glorious tarte tatin where each ingredient was prepared perfectly in every detail, to the creme brulee that was not only the lightest, melt-in-your mouth creme topped with crunchy berries – that would have been enough in itself – but add the best chocolate ice cream we have both ever tasted – dense and chocolate-studded – and the warm, ethereal shortbread. Petit Bocal has become our go-to for any time we're in Auckland."
