"What a great location and wonderful diner. Bob has just transported me to another dimension in the timeless comfort of a long-term diner. If this is a time in LA, if not even a plate of pasta is regularly affordable under $20 in LA, this place offers dishes at a reasonable price and the food is well generous portions. My Hamburger was a simple classic American cheeseburger combination with frits and a salad. It wasn't the burger of my life, and exactly what I expected. Just an uncomplicated classic and good. Adding a chocolate malt milkshake was a perfect end to the meal. Oh, if you like goods, they have a good selection of teas, stickers, patches, cups and kinks that would make perfect LA souvenirs. Here I would like to take a tourist who wants a real American experience in LA."

"Late (830 o'clock) on a Monday night, not overcrowded...parted sour lemongrass soup, pad thai (chicken) and risotto (shrimp and whistle,) all very good and fresh! google maps ran us a bit in directions, and parking is economical (parked in chipotle lot above the road.)"

"Here to the breakfast before a flight from the airport burbank, which is only a short distance away. I couldn't be happier that I did. had the vegan chilaquiles that were fantastic. Tortilla chips, whole pinto beans, tofu, avocado and other vegetables with a turbidity of hummus and something to give him a kick. really good. even better — the nice people who work there. they saw how they interacted with a couple and their baby and there was so much warmth."

"I was pretty surprised by this location. I will be returning. We stopped by at about 3AM so it was pretty quiet, but considering I was expecting it to be bad diner food, it was actually pretty good diner food. Quality was better than some other late night establishments. I had a caesar salad with chicken, it was really quite good. I ordered a side of bacon, which I was most impressed with. (I know, it's bacon, what could go wrong? A lot of places have salty tasteless bacon that is always cooked to crispy. This bacon was perfect and had a great flavor, I was surprised. My girlfriend had a breakfast dish that was pretty good. The egg was fried a bit too much but I think it was probably a fluke because everything else was good."
