"We popped in here to get lunch while sitting with a very poorly lady in a near by nursing home. We grabbed a Roma and New York Bagel which we asked for warmed/ toasted and a bag of crisps and slice of cake. This cost is nearly £18 which I think was very expensive indeed. The bagels were stone cold straight out of the chiller and simply cut in half in their wrappers and then put in a bag to take away. Neither of us enjoyed ours, tasteless because they were so cold, dry and really quite unpalatable and hard to eat. Mine had chunky slices of mozzarella in which would have been lovely warmed. I forced it down as I was so hungry. The Courgette and Avocado cake was only ok but nothing special. Thank goodness for my crisps ! Certainly won’t be going again."

"This is a very nice pub with a good atmosphere and friendly service and we were well looked after by Alice.We had the Surf and Turf and the Chicken burger and both were very good.We had a crumble and the different ice-creams for dessert and a couple of coffees, both good.There are well kept real ales and a good gin selection along with a nice Malbec !With all our drinks and food the bill came to a very reasonable"

"I'd give the vegan roast a good 7/10. Portion is very large and filling. And I was happy that the sausages were properly cooked, with a golden brown outside. Potatoes, carrots and peas were fine. Improvements could be thicker gravy and more stuffing or nutroast."

"I was back a few weeks. eating was amazing. I couldn't blame. the high standards of food and friendly professional staff made this a brilliant night out. there were twelve on our party that everyone was more than satisfied with his choice. I chose this place as he had a good vegan menu. I will come back at the earliest. I was so impressed and the more likely. that is now just the heaven for me! "

"Review before CF/DF request: quite good eating and a nice sort. the gf garlic bread was lovely. I had the gorgonzola pasta. it was pretty good, but the sauce could have been creamier. all in all, a very good experience!"

"The children had to eat out, not book too far in advance. a lot of space for my wheelchair. decent eating? nice atmosphere. one of our favorite pubs. especially in summer when you can enjoy the beer garden."

"Our table wasn’t ready for us so we was seated at another table which only had one seat for two of us. When moved somewhere else to wait for our actual table we were out in middle of two tables with no social distancing.. but that was ok because it was staff members friends… with no thought about the distance between us Service wise drinks were so quick to come out and the gentleman service was the loveliest man ever! So kind"
