"I've been in Comox for two days and I've had coffee and lunch here both days. This place is quaint ... great tasting sandwiches, top quality food in a friendly, welcoming, community oriented environment. The owner, John, makes a point of addressing you by name and ensures you are well taken care of. I'm definitely a hard-to-please (fussy) eater and I totally loved this place ... they were more than accommodating with my "please no and add this" requests...."

"A very nice mid range restaurant. Food was excellent and they were especially good on gluten free as my wife is Celiac. Which is why we chose it. The service was fine and friendly and food came out promptly. Certainly we would go back when in Courtenay."

"Dropped in for lunch at this quaint little cafe. It is only open for breakfast and lunch and is not licensed for alcohol. I had the Reuben which came out very hot and tasty. In stead of the fries or salad i had the soup which was beef barley. It was tasty with lots of beef etc. but it was just luke warm? Really friendly waiter and you could tell it was frequented by mostly locals which was good."

"After spending $34 (this included tip) for a seafood stack in another restaurant, I was very disappointed about the overall experience, so I asked my wife to stop before we went home. We chose Sushi Jo because of the proximity of the previously mentioned restaurant. We decided correctly. The service was immediately and really friendly. We ordered two reels and the sorted speed. Everything was perfect and we spent the same amount of money. Sushi Jo saved the day."

"I took the hot spaghetti, it was good and sharp. The Nanaimo Bar and the Raspberry Cheesecake were good. My partner took a Creamy Dill Beet Burger. We didn't expect the place to be so-many-things-free, so we were a little confused. But it was good for raw food. But... so much plastic, really??? Updated by previous review on 2022-08-29"
