"I recently visited this cafe and had a mixed experience with the food and beverages. While the cafe had its highlights, there were certain aspects that left me underwhelmed. Let 's start with the beverages. The orange juice, priced at $8, seemed overpriced considering it was similar to what you can find in a supermarket for a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the taste was not exceptional and had a somewhat artificial flavor. The mango smoothie was meh, nothing extraordinary. The latte lacked that special touch to make it stand out. On the other hand, the mocha was described too strong, but that 's purely a matter of personal preference. Moving on to the food, The Big Vegetarian Breakfast left much to be desired. The tomatoes were sad, and the mushrooms were bland, resulting in an overall underwhelming experience. Despite some dishes being visually appealing, this particular dish didn 't offer much in terms of taste. It was also mentioned that the portion size was not sufficient for a big breakfast. The haloumi, beetroot relish, sautéed spinach, and warm focaccia combination was decent. However, the Eggs Benedict was average and messy to eat, although this could be expected from a dish like Eggs Benedict. There’s not much to say about the chips, they tasted great but the serving size was a bit small. It 's worth noting that while the food didn 't impress, the customer service at La Bottega Café was impeccable. The waitress created a welcoming atmosphere, and the manager was friendly and outgoing. "Haven't been to Jolly for years, and we went back on Friday night, and the foods are still good and friendly services. We missed our fun and lovely waiter Kenny, who has been working there for a long time. Hope he will return soon. "YAY! I'm a fan because I grew up in Canada (with frequent road trips to the US of A) in the 80s and Sizzler was the place to be. Confession: every time we go to Thailand, we venture to the Sizzler for memory's sake. It's $25 for the all-you-can-eat salad bar?? But $29 for the salad bar PLUS a steak? Duh.... I went for the steak. Which was DELICIOUS for a mere extra $4. So juicy and tender. The salad bar was a hit and miss. The nacho section was kind of gross. The actual salads (caesar, coleslaw, etc) were excellent. I also went for the shrimp and avocado salad which was terrible (surprise). The shrimp had been frozen for god knows how long, it didn't even taste like shrimp. But this isn't really a complaint but an observation, after all, how fresh of shrimp can one expect at a $25 buffet? The soup and pastas were excellent. Loved the alfredo sauce. Excellent fruit. The best part? Soft serve ice cream with m&m, chocolate chips, and rainbow sprinkles! I felt a kid all over again. Would I return? Probably not for at least a year seeing as it's not the healthiest food choices. But we had a damn good time while there."

"Met James, the manager briefly when this first opened last year and knew this was going to be a hit then! Personally when I think toast I don 't get too excited, but these guys are definitely on to something! I 'm a big fan of the STRAWBERRY SLIDER!!! Thick layer of clotted cream on that Sourdough slice and then carefully placed layers of strawberry on top and coconut shavings!!!! Definitely the item I would come back for. I had a bit of the B1 B2 which involves a peanut butter base (I swear they used half a jar here which is awesome) banana, toasted muesli and half glued together with honey YUUUUUMMMM! If there was such a thing as authentic Aussie Cuisine, toast would be on that list next to Kangaroo and Mr Topper 's would be that Michelin version of toast! hahahah Awesome! This is totally the perfect beach eat in case you can 't tell from the pics, it 's a 'hole in the wall ' situation with limited seating, just take your goods to the beach it 's right across the road!"
