"I was passing through Hartford on a mini road trip and we decided to stop in Hartford. The Kitchen had great reviews and was near to the highway which made it the most convenient place to stop.I had the avocado toast and a lavender lemonade- both were very good. My friends had salmon and quiche and everyone was happy with everything they ordered. The staff was also really kind and conversational (which isn't something we're used to coming from the super-rushed city of Boston!)This place also has a cool story behind it and finding a place with good food that supports the local community was a double win!"

"Good food with a beautiful atmosphere. The walk is a little strange (darkic hall next to the restaurant that has a door in the middle of the restaurant instead of going through the front door), but the art and the pillows fed bank from one side when the restaurant was comfortable and fun. In any case recommend"

"Go here! So my wife and I were driving back to NYC from Maine and the trip is fairly long (around 6 hours . I didn't want to stop at a rest stop, so we Googled Thai food. Pulling off the highway and stopping and King I Thai was a terrific decision. The atmosphere was cozy, hospitable, and comfortable. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and loaded with flavor. The hot oil was something to write home about for real, give it a shot, the heat factor is pretty high, but it's loaded with a smokey, garlicky taste. And the mango sticky rice dessert was terrific (fresh mango in the winter!?! . But what really makes this place spectacular is Kasey's (the young owners commitment to sharing his family's food with you in as warm, friendly, and generous a manner as possible. If I'm ever in Hartford again, I'm most certainly stopping at the King I."

"This was our first time dining at On20. We made our reservation a month or so ago, not knowing that it was Restaurant Week. On20 did call us ahead of time to let us know this, and we opted to keep our reservation. We arrived on time for our 7 p.m. reservation. We were sat immediately. Our server was nowhere to be found. We weren't even able to place drink orders (through a different server) for 20+ minutes after sitting. The server (younger, long black hair glasses), was a ghost for nearly our entire meal. She was slow in retrieving our drinks from the bar. She was gone even longer when we wanted to place food orders. We ordered a second drink after the first course, which she forgot at the bar. The bartender brought them to our table. My cocktail was warm which meant it had been sitting there for some time. She did not clear any plates or bus the table at all. We tried to order another drink just after our main course arrived. She took the order, but forgot to put it in. When she finally came back (after we were finishing our desserts), I asked her to cancel the order (she conceded she forgot it). The food was also underwhelming. The veal was fatty and the flavors did not mesh well. I expected much more from On20 given its reputation. I would have a very hard time returning and giving them another shot. I worked in the service industry for 10 years. Though I like the idea of a forced service charge for the staff, I can't help but wonder if it disincentives good service."

"We had the tuna nicoise tartare for a starter, the Jumbo Sea Scallops and Aged New York Strip with asparagus for entrees, the Chocolate Molten Souffle for dessert and the Local Lemonade and Jack of Hearts for cocktails. Everything was superb; absolutely delicious. In fact, I've never had a steak so tender and juicy before. The souffle was heaven. Truly a 5 star experience!"

"I’m not from the area, found Sorella and so glad I did! Anne took such good care of me and anticipated my every need. The calamari was fantastic, the chicken Marsala stole the show, and the tiramisu was homemade! Definitely recommend Sorella, you will not be disappointed!"
