"Exceptional food and service. Friendly staff with pretty faces. They do the best hollandaise. Coffee is 10/10 and the guy who makes it looks like he could kill a man with just his thumbs, but would also be very happy to be invited to your baby's gender reveal party, it's a vibe and I really respect it."

"What happened to Salsas? Why didn't I read the reviews first. This place should be killing it post COVID. Not much competition for food in the plaza. The fact it was quiet should have told me something. Burrito bowl was very disappointing. Morsels of overcooked chicken, sauce and rice. No flavour. Staff were pleasant enough. Good service. Seems like it's management choice to cut did costs by reducing quality. Bowls used to be awesome. Haven't had it for a while. Probably won't be back."

"Ordered a beer on tap. The girl who served me was really nice. I said to the girl that the beer tasted flat. She got the manager (after I said, I wanted a different beer on tap). Not quite sure why that was necessary. I told the same thing to the manager. Who then gave me a lecture of how the keg was changed at ‘2pm’. After I explained I wanted something different. He said “there is nothing wrong with it” and just walked away, no resolution. He was very condescending borderline smart arse. Came across very passive aggressive. Very poor management skills."

"Mr Macleod is a very welcome addition to Macleod village and is the only place my wife and I (coffee snobs! will get our coffees from. The food is also fantastic but most importantly is Ned’s (the owner style of customer service which is authentic and fun."

"We discovered this place when we searched coffee shops. It is so much more! Courtney was amazing and recommended the avocado toast for a lighter dish to go with my chai tea latte. My husband had the chicken and waffles, which was hands down the best we've ever had. He also had the lavender mint latte. Be sure to ask for your coffee (latte) in a mug. Makes the taste and experience so much better. Their decor is unique and whimsical. Highly recommend!"
