"We live in Quarteira and so know many of the best local places to have something to eat and drink.... and this is undoubtedly our favourite! So much so that we try to pop in most days for their lovely, interesting range of food and drink options.. Fabulous breakfast and salad bowls, pancakes, amazing daily changing home made cakes, smoothies and milkshakes, and an interesting choice of herbal teas. It's always delicious and we have never been disappointed with the freshly prepared products. The service is always excellent and friendly too. A great place to pass some time and watch the world go by just off the main promenade."

"Great place to eat. Coming to Quinta for more than 20 years and for some reason it took us 15 to try Mr Freddies. We now come twice in the two week holiday. "I’m only giving this restaurant 1 star because I can’t give 0. The saltiest thing I have ever been served. I ordered the steak, had one mouthful and couldn’t eat it. Waiters refused to do anything about it, and then were rude when I politely explained I didn’t want to pay for it. Waiter begun to argue back and so I ended up paying just to get out of the place and continue enjoying my night drinking water to quench my thirst from the saltiness. Considering it a miracle that I wasn’t in hospital with kidney stones, although had I continued eating I may have not been so lucky. Plenty of other restaurants in the marina that are 100 X better than this shambles."

"Had a wonderful meal here with my family. The service was wonderful and the food was tasty and really good value. There were 8 of us and our meals ranged from tagliatelle, steak, chicken to spaghetti bolognese. Everyone commented on how delicious their food was. Portion sizes were generous too. Would highly recommend"

"Plenty of parking space. Reservations recommended. A charming restaurant with high standards of cleanliness and cooking. Chairs could do with cushions. The daily specials are really worth considering. Fish and the lamb dishes were very well prepared and presented. Outside eating on the terrace looked good, but our evening was cool with a wind, so inside was better. Recommended."

"Visited on our last night of our holiday. Booked the night before as I was concerned it was going to be a Friday night, it was pretty busy but as we had younger children we were first in at 19:00 when they opened. We had a nice table outside which is much cooler than inside. Most of us had the piri piri chicken which we all thought was really good. It’s on the bone but cut into chunks. Small menu, which isn’t a bad thing, included some children’s dishes. Overall a really nice evening and would recommend"
