"Always liked this place at SFU campus and decided to get a take out at this location. Ordered my standard bowl no.1 with prawns as extra protein. When we arrived home and started unpacking the food, turned out they forgot to put prawns. I called immediately and they admitted that they forgot it, apologized, and told me that next time I come, I can get free prawns, then stuttered and promised a full free bowl instead. They wrote down my full name with phone number. I came there couple of weeks later, explained the situation, they found my info in the notebook and told that I can only get free prawns since the bowl itself was normal. I tried to argue a bit cause I was promised a free bowl, and I just received the same reply that the bowl was okay, so I can only get free protein. I guess I should’ve expected this, but nevertheless, the situation made me feel a little ripped off, so I just decided not to get anything there…Updated reply:Sorry but I’m not interested in continuing this exchange. I was just extremely disappointed by being mislead and further wasting my time."

"Their rolls excellent, and so was the soup. always fresh, made to order. We were tired and so stopped-in for take-out and brought our food back to our hotel. They will deliver as well within a reasonable distance. Their parking lot lack space and only holds eight(8) vehicles or so, however this restaurant is walking distance from our hotel and transit services. Their staff is very knowledgeable. It's very busy most of the time, (we were there around 7:45pm on a Friday night). We don't know if they take reservations, but if they do, we certainly advise to do so."

"Had a lovely meal here and great service from the lady who runs the place. The tempura roll was delicious! I'm not a raw sushi fan but there was still a lot of choice here for cooked meat dishes. The rice was also very well made, and the sake very tasty. It's not a huge place but every table is in its own subdivision'/booth which is nice. Highly recommended!"

"Oh. My. Lawd! Seriously the best fries I've had. Super crispy and crunchy and perfectly cooked. Maybe beer battered? I don't know but YUMMMMM. I also got them with a side of gravy (droool) and I got the regular fried chicken sandwich. It comes with guacamole, coleslaw and some other delicious bits and pieces that I forget but WOW. Also the bread was so soft and a little crunchy on the outside. The most perfect fried chicken sandwich. Not too sloppy or dry. Thank you!Parking: Parking out rear"

"This is definitely the best place to get sushi in New Westminster for me. Sushi is always very tasty beautiful neat and does not fall apart. Miss who takes orders is always kind and very warm nice person. Always glad to see her. The place is inconspicuous and quiet, perhaps this is for the good, because it maintains a sense of calm and privacy. I've been visiting this place for half a year and have always been satisfied. It cheers me up. Thank you!"
