"Being a resident of Noble Park, I frequently go to Harrisfield particularly the European greengrocer for fruit and vegs. Always passed by La Bohemia and wondered about the food but never gave it a second thought until my husband mentioned that he and a friend had been to it several times for coffee and sandwiches which in his opinion were very good, and suggested to go there for lunch or tea one day. That day came when I just arrived from travel interstate on an early flight and not having had breakfast prior, was quite ravenous by the time we got to the cafe. It's just a virtual hole in the wall tucked away in the corner of the Harrisfield shopping area, and would be hardly noticeable except for the outdoor umbrellas and chrome furniture in front. From the outside it looks a lot like the takeaway joints that are situated near factories and industrial areas. The interior decor is plain but the premises are clean albeit small. Regular menu is printed on a large chalkboard on the wall, and there's also a bain marie section displaying lunch for the day. DH ordered the lasagna and a coffee, and I, after much deliberation, settled for lomito - beef steak fillet - with rice and salad. Pleasantly surprised to find that the servings were huge and I quickly dug into my food without hesitation. Beef was chewy yet tender and the accompanying avocado and aioli dips complemented the tartiness of the tomato and the sweetness of the meat. We were also served a small container of home made chili sauce with just the right amount of heat and "bite", not numbing nor burning like commercial sauces, can feel the spicy taste on the tongue at first and then it dissolves into a warm pleasant sensation when swallowed. We ate outside the cafe, which can be a bit cramped especially when all the tables (3 or 4) are occupied but manageable. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches and virtually wiped the dishes clean. The price was reasonable too - just under $30 with coffees. Now that I've discovered the joys of eating here, we will certainly come back and try the other dishes on offer - perhaps the emapanadas (pastry stuffed with beef, onions and olives) or the cafe's take on paella or pastel de choclo (chicken and beef mash with sweetcorn topping). Mmmm. My mouth is watering as I am typing this."

"What a great little restaurant, serving truly great food!Bright, breezy, friendly and clean... Street Pho offers a menu to please everyone.A specialty is the Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup) with various inclusions.I chose the rare beef and pork loaf and was truly blown away.Firstly... the serving is a very generous sized bowl packed with the meat, vegetables, noodles and broth, and spicy just as I like it.There are also the accompaniments to add as you like... lettuce, sprouts, lemon, chili etc. This really is a generous and delicious bowl of soup.Prior to that there were tasty spring rolls, served with neat lettuce leaves for wrapping and fish sauce (nuoc mam) for dipping.Importantly we were asked when ordering when we would like our choices delivered, eg starter first, then main after a short break. There was also a generous flask of fresh hot green tea served on arrival, and an assortment of condiments on the table. There seems to be plenty of parking around, on street and in nearby car parks, so access is no problem. And the value for money is as everything else was... superb!Looking forward to returning."
