"Went for brunch and waited 40 minutes for our table despite other tables being available and the hostess lying about it. Once seated, the wait for someone to give us menus and then serve us was too long considering not being crowded. Food is average with very small portions, but very expensive...$23 for two small pieces of toast with a litte crab salad on top? Nice looking room especially during the day but poor service and expensive small portions of average food certainly does not have me coming back anytime soon...suggest you avoid it as well."

"Everything was fine at best and I probably wouldnt order from here again. The Tamales were really solid, nice flavor. Real deal. The Lomo saltado had no flavor. I had asked if they could do it spicy and I would have understood if it just wasnt spicy but it wasnt seasoned at all, no salt or pepper, nothing. The fries werent crispy at all (I get that its to-go but this wasnt "the fries got soggy over time"; this was "they never got crispy to begin with" and the onions were barely cooked. I tried dousing it in the salsas they gave me The meat for the 12. Chilaquiles con Carne (Verdes y Rojos was at least seasoned a bit but was cooked pretty well and the chilaquiles themselves just had a weird kind of flavor. Overall, not thrilled."

"Above all, I'm never one who leaves a review. But I felt it was necessary. My family and I came to this place after I hunted Mexican food. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed. To my surprise I see many great reviews about this place. But I only speak in my name and in the HONEST review. They gave my husband preheated Tacitos. They seemed like the ones you buy prepacked from costco (I know that because I buy this every time), nothing tasted appetite. Very dry as you can see on the photos. That was the worst $50. We've ever lived. Save time and go to a real authentic Mexican restaurant, even if there is a waiting time."

"Café Dulce is one of the first places I visited when I moved to Connecticut from Westchester. My neighbor invited me so we could get to know each other better and since then I have visited regularly bringing my spouse, children and my mother in law. The staff are friendly, the coffee is great and the pastries are out of this world! Always fresh and delicious. Whether you decide to dine in or grab a quick dessert Cafe Dulce will satisfy any craving."
