"The food is excellent! There's so much on the menu, you could have a different meal everyday. We had the shrimp, pork and salad rolls, deep fried wontons, and vermicelli with grilled ground shrimp on sugar can and spring roll.If you've never had Vietnamese rolls, I highly recommend them. They're delicious, healthy and very light.This is the first time that I've tried deep fried wontons. Usually, I have them in a broth, but these were quite tasty.What I like most about Vietnamese food is that they nearly always serve the right size portions; and while you may feel like ordering more food, 15 minutes later you'll feel just right.Vegetarian options: If you prefer a vegetarian diet, there's something for you too; and you won't be dissatisfied.Kid-friendliness: It's very much a family friendly environment. There were families with kids when we are there; and unless your kids are extremely picky eaters, there should be plenty that they'll enjoy too.Wheelchair accessibility: If you're wheelchair bound, you should have no problems accessing the building, as it's on the ground floor. Also, the tables were spaciously separated, leaving ample room to navigate to the table. I didn't check the Restroom, so I don't know what facility they offer in that regard.Dietary restrictions: Ask the wait staff before ordering. They can find out if they can meet your dietary restrictions."

"I usually reaaaally don't like to eat for breakfast but everything looked sooooo good. I went for the Downtown monsieur which included handmade ham, onion jam sandwich.. it was MARVELOUS. The service was also really good, our waitress was really kind & sweet. I would totally recommand this place & probably will return next time I come to Oshawa."

"I have been visiting Cocoa and Joe for a few weeks now. I discovered the place when a good friend was hosting an open mic night at the location. The owner, Sharon, is delightful, and I instantly felt at home! She puts love into everything she does. Whether I pop in for a quick latte, or stay for a glass of wine and delicious avocado and tomato sandwich, this is my stop in of choice."

"The sign on the street is deceiving. Same owner but new name...The Toad Stool Social House. I searched for it here, but found nothing. My girlfriend and I visited there for lunch June 7th. Sarah was our server and she was lovely. Quick and friendly, always greeted the table with a smile. Even shewed away a smoker that was a little too close to the patio. Management might want to move the ash tray to the other side of the walkway to avoid further incidents.Coor banquet draft was $6....wow I had the Chicken Avocado Salad for $15.99. Menu states full Chicken breast.....I don't think so. And as for the salad, half an avocado cubed, a handful of cubed cucumbers (so small you almost missed them) and romaine lettuce. I will say that the house dressing was quite nice. Over priced in my opinion for the quality and quantity of the plate. Wish I had of taken a picture. My friend had the Salmon entree. 2 good portion fillets of Salmon, cooked perfectly.A baked potato??? with Salmon was the option and a small (cupcake size) lump of frozen vegetable. This one was $18.We didn't find that this was a good value for our dollar."

"Atmosphere was nice. Small place, service was prompt. In and out in less than an hour which would have been great for a work lunch except the food was not very good. I had the General Tao's Chicken. The chicken seemed to be mostly just batter and everything was covered in so much sweet sticky sauce that it was pretty terrible. It did have a little bit of heat but was overwritten by all the sweet. My co-worker had the Pad Thai and said that the chicken in hers was good but the sauce was not great.I don't know that I would bother going back. If I did it would be to try a different dish."

"I was heading to a pet store near by thought Mexican food with would be a nice Friday treat. Best money I've spent on food in ages. The cancun combo is filling and delectable, as is the chimichanga with chorizo. And very reasonably priced. The customer service made it extra good, great team there."

"We have had at this place twice now. Both the times, we ordered a stir fry a fried rice and can say, we haven’t been disappointed. The taste is really nice and ingredients are fresh. They have a huge menu ranging from Thai, Chinese Vietnamese food. Will keep on trying different options."
