"The food was fucking good. I had the braided short ribs one night, and the next night was blown away by the roasted barramundi. Both were delicious. Friendly staff, nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating."

"Have stayed here twice over the past year, both times on an Amex Fine Hotels rate, during the week. Happy for the value nice, large rooms, excellent groups, lots included with the Amex rate. Service always friendly though it is clear they are short staffed. Had a massage (stress relief) this time and it was the highlight of the stay, for sure. F&B is expensive (though not ridiculous) but good quality and portions. Some areas around the hotel need TLC and I don't know how happy I would be paying high season weekend rates."

"Excellent service, exceptional food! I had the chicken pot pie. Omg! Talk about comfort food. Huge portion, beautiful presentation. My only complaint (really disappointed) that they no longer serve their fabulous turkey dish. The roasted turkey, mashed and gravy, served over a Texas like toast and cranberries was one of the reasons for always dining there. I definitely was not disappointed with the chicken pot pie which normally would never have been a dish I would have ordered. Glad I did!"
