"L chose to celebrate my birthday at The Tulip Tree. Ambiance was pleasant with tea light candles and gorgeous original artwork every where. The seating was prompt and the staff was courteous and attentive. For drinks, we had the Spanish Flu which I dearly loved. For appetizers, we had the Okra and the Oysters Rockefeller, delicious. My husband loved the pimento cheese twist on the oysters. The okra was deep fried whole pod-yummy! For entrees, I had the crab cakes while he had the prime rib. Delicious! We couldn’t finish either item and they packed it up for us to take home. As a special treat, they brought me a chocolate mini bomb thingy which was to die for. We’re looking forward to going back."
