"Normally this place is a fixed device. we have placed our order, which was first placed wrong, because the woman who took our order had a great attitude, which alone I will not come back. it was at 4:57 pm and I was order number 307 yes I took this to know) why? because I didn't get a reception with my order and when I asked for one, the lady who had taken my order became extremely defensiw and was amazed with us. the older lady I suspect is the manager and tried her best. in any case, I don't think it was something to do with the manager or the other woman who was ordering number 307 at this time on May 30, 2020 at 4:57. if I had to run the dame that took my order, I would have a better chance to swim a screen door. literal waited 5 minutes for order even to be taken. also her monitor is badly broken and needs replaced. at this place a lot has to be done. overall looks like an eyeore."

"At 11:30. There were three tables, including me. The server was nice, but somehow slow. I ordered a burger. She asked me how I would like it, cooked I said medium. Burger came at 11:55. The burger was saltless and boiled over. They say it was wagyu, but it was so hard and cooked. I asked for a refill of the water and it was all ice and a water drop. Tal Brew fell sad."

"This restaurant doesn't have a lot of options especially least not for vegetarians. They have more alchohol on the menu than food and its extremely pricey. Took them a while to give us our appetizers even though they were onky pieces of asparagus a dish that cost almost which was disappointing. I just think one could eat a much bigger meal with a whole lot of options for the same price. Is a pretty little restaurant with friendly staff, just not worth the money in my opinion"

"Top notch, boys and girls. Whether you 're herbivorous or omnivorous, Downtowner 's got something unique and delicious for you. I 'm not vegan or anything, and I don 't just say to establish my credibility as a restaurant reviewer but also to praise Downtowner 's vegan menu, which had meals tantalizing enough to win over a couple carnists like me and my father. To my surprise, he ordered vegan nachos made with 'cashew queso ' and even claimed he liked them. I went for a spicy Thai grilled 'cheese ' that had veggie spring rolls cooked right in between the grilled 'bread. ' Real weird stuff, but I like to experiment, our lovely waitress recommended it, and in the end I was satisfied. I do regret choosing that over the Seared Ahi Sliders, though, which my brother ordered, looked absolutely amazing. Mom had a 50/50 burger and said it was outstanding as well. I 'd also like to say that the fries were top quality, no sog, everything you want in a fry. I ordered an Icelandic white ale, too, which came in a viking glass and was so exquisite that I learned something new about myself: me love white ales. Even Downtowner 's water was especially good, self-serve and naturally essenced with your choice of cucumber or lemon-lime. I also appreciated the varied music they played, which included some punk. As for the art on the walls: picturesque nature scenes, nicely subverting your expectations of city skylines. And the service was killer, too. Our server was kind, patient, witty, helpful, and very easy on the eyes—everything you want in a waitress! Another guy, possibly the chef, came out and checked on us once, too, but neither one was overbearing or anything. We were only passing through Stockton, but from what I saw The Downtowner may well be the best part of this city. Top notch, boys and girls."

"The music was annoyingly loud! We had to ask to be reseated outside and it was still loud. Prime rib was the most fattiest piece I ever had. Would never order again, The service was absolutely outstanding and accomidating. The calamari was amazing!"
