"Came here once for breakfast once for dinner while in the Gold Coast. For breakfast I got the 'pitaya smoothie bowl ' and the presentation was amazing perfect for photos. It also tasted really fresh fruity. For dinner I got the 'crispy chicken burger ' which was alright and then for dessert we got the 'apple pie fries ' the 'rich chocolate brownie ' which were the highlights of our meal. My family and I loved the desserts, they tasted so good. Recommend going here for breakfast for sure and dinner is alright but not amazing."

"Lives on the coast for some time and have eaten in many places, but WOW had only the ribs for dinner here and everything I can say is OMG. They wanted to die! The portion size itself was enough for two (even if I had half a rack) and they were so fleshy and tender and no matter how much I wanted, I could not finish them. So the food without question gets an eleven out of ten, but then the staff, well I must say, also get an 11 out of 10. They were friendly, greeted you with smiles and could have a conversation. Not even our drinks came down without having a friendly face to ask if we want another drink. I, we, would definitely recommend Central to anyone visiting the beautiful Surfers Paradise."

"Love Vietnamese food and have it a lot in Melbourne. Was excited to discover this little eatery when we needed takeaway one night after the kids had crashed. Greeted with a grunt from the guy serving, annoyed because I interrupted his phone call. Made my order which was reluctantly processed by the guy serving. Took what seemed a long time to make (two pho, two serves spring rolls), maybe I've been spoilt with the quick service and high quality of food from Springvale, Melbourne? Received dinner with another grunt and straight back to his phone. Pho was of average flavour with chewy bits of beef and mainly noodles. Should have just had McDonalds."

"Expectations were high as we eat at La Porchetta in Hobart. The son ordered spaghetti bolognese which he said was just ok -actually didn't finish eating it which was unusual). Husband and I shared the chicken and avocado fettuccine pasta. Not much chicken in...it, but, full of Avacado. We shared a pizza with the lot. Only had one slice as the toppings were cut so thick you could not enjoy it especially the thickness of the capsicum and mushrooms. Service was quick and friendly."

"Manolas Bros have been part of the Gold Coast Cafe scene for many many years and are well known for the great quality food. With a very successful transition to night time dining the tradition continues. Great pizzas made to order as you watch or...dome tempting share plates, there is something for everyone. Great friendly service by a team who want to be there and make sure you enjoy yourself. Loads of free parking. Best to book for weekends."

"Had a 5:30 reservation for a family meal with grandparents, which I had booked 3 months prior and had the confirmation email. They didn’t have our reservation and placed us at a table with bar stools with no regard for the grandparents comfort or ease of sitting. It was so loud we couldn’t talk. Food was very average. No one finished their meals. We came from Melbourne and had researched best family meals to avoid this kind of experience. Would never go back for a family experience. Very disappointed."

"We discovered this cafe on Tedder Avenue many months ago now this has only just been added. So I will try remember how good our breakfast was. If I recall correctly I had the corn fritters which were deliciously soft on the inside with that crunch which I love on the exterior. They were topped with avocado greens so a good healthy breakfast! The coffee was also a winner, we ordered double shots however"
